The Stibnite Advisory Council released its 2025 Annual Report regarding its ongoing work with Perpetua Resources as the company moves into construction on the Stibnite Gold Project. The Stibnite Advisory Council, which was formed in 2018, is designed to provide the eight community signatories of the Community Agreement with a dedicated avenue to communicate and collaborate directly with Perpetua Resources throughout the life of the Stibnite Gold Project.
“The Stibnite Advisory Council is focused on communication, fact finding and transparency,” said Tom Reinhardt, Stibnite Advisory Council Chair. “As local citizens representing our respective communities, we want to hear concerns, questions, and feedback about the mining project. We bring those topics to the table with Perpetua representatives for discussion, answers, and resolution. This has resulted in studies commissioned through the Council to answer critical questions about the impact of the mine on water quality, local employment, and the broader socio-economic environment. We commit ourselves to this work as volunteers, working respectfully and collaboratively with Perpetua on behalf of the communities and environment in which we live. We hope you take the time to read this report and share your thoughts and questions with us.”
The Stibnite Advisory Council’s 2025 Annual Report provides an in-depth look at the Council’s efforts to understand local stakeholders’ anticipated impacts from the Stibnite Gold Project, ongoing efforts to verify water quality data at site and new efforts to fully understand the economic impacts of the project.
2025 Annual Report highlights:
- Continued presentations on the Stibnite Gold Project since 2019
- The Independent Water Monitoring Program continued to provide accountability and transparency, with 2025 water samples demonstrating consistent results between Perpetua Resources and the University of Idaho’s Idaho Water Resources Research Institute
- Continued to grow the Stibnite Advisory Council’s Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document to be responsive to community questions
- 1,000+ participants in the Stibnite Advisory Council’s Workforce Survey, with one-third of respondents indicating they would be willing to move to the region over time to work on the Stibnite Gold Project
The Stibnite Advisory Council meets the second Thursday of every month at Perpetua Resources’ Donnelly office and virtually over Zoom. The meetings are open to the public for observation. For more information, please visit www.StibniteAdvisoryCouncil.com.
