The Stibnite Advisory Council gives communities a seat at the table with Perpetua Resources and the opportunity to help shape the Stibnite Gold Project. The council meets monthly to discuss the impacts, concerns and opportunities surrounding the project. The Stibnite Advisory Council is comprised of appointed representatives from eight communities near the project site and Perpetua Resources. Here is a summary of what was discussed during the March 9, 2023 Stibnite Advisory Council meeting:

Council received a safety update from Kyle Fend, Field Operations Manager, Perpetua Resources.

Council reviewed and approved the 2022 SAC Annual Report.

Council reviewed the Idaho Water Resource Research Institute 2023/2024 contract.

Council requested funding for the 2023/2024 Independent Water Monitoring Program from Perpetua Resources.  Perpetua Resources agreed to fund the program for 2023/2024.

Council approved language to add a Media person to the SAC by-laws.

Council received an economic impact update from Mckinsey Lyon, VP External Affairs, Perpetua Resources.
