DONNELLY, ID – The Stibnite Advisory Council released its 2023 Annual Report highlighting its key achievements and ongoing work with Perpetua Resources over the past year. The Stibnite Advisory Council was formed in 2018 to give eight of the communities closest to the Stibnite Gold Project a venue to work directly with Perpetua Resources throughout the life of the project.

“The Stibnite Advisory Council is focused on communication, fact finding and transparency,” said Tom Reinhardt, Stibnite Advisory Council Chair. “We seek your feedback on the Stibnite Gold Project and bring those topics to Perpetua Resources for discussion, answers and resolution. This has resulted in studies commissioned to answer critical questions around water quality, local employment and the broader socio-economic environment. We commit ourselves to this work as volunteers, working respectfully and collaboratively with Perpetua on behalf of the communities and environment in which we live. We hope people will read our Annual Report and use this as an opportunity to share their thoughts with us.”

The Stibnite Advisory Council’s 2023 Annual Report provides an in-depth look at the Council’s efforts to communicate local stakeholder feedback regarding the Stibnite Gold Project, its ongoing water quality data verification program at site and its new initiative to analyze the complete economic impact of the project.

2023 Annual Report highlights:

  • New economic study commissioned with Recon Insight Group
  • 30+ presentations on the Stibnite Gold Project since 2019
  • Independent Water Monitoring Program showed consistent results between Perpetua Resources and the University of Idaho’s Idaho Water Resources Research Institute
  • Growing frequently asked questions document to respond to inquiries from the community
  • More than 800 people surveyed regarding working on the Stibnite Gold Project

The Stibnite Advisory Council meets the second Thursday of every month at Perpetua Resources’ Donnelly office and virtually over Zoom. The meetings are open to the public for observation. For more information, please visit www.StibniteAdvisoryCouncil.com
