The Stibnite Advisory Council gives communities a seat at the table with Perpetua Resources and the opportunity to help shape the Stibnite Gold Project. The council meets monthly to discuss the impacts, concerns and opportunities surrounding the project. The Stibnite Advisory Council is comprised of appointed representatives from eight communities near the project site and Perpetua Resources. Here is a summary of what was discussed during the August 11, 2023 Stibnite Advisory Council meeting:

Council invited fire chiefs and EMS directors to visit with SAC to understand their service areas, current challenges, and concerns around the Stibnite Gold Project. 

Council discussed the pilot transportation program between New Meadows and McCall. Currently a two day a week program but moving to a five day per week schedule beginning in June 2024.

Council discussed capturing emails for those who want more information and updates on SAC.

Council reviewed their representative reports.

Next Stibnite Advisory Council meeting will be held September 14, 2023
