The Stibnite Advisory Council gives communities a seat at the table with Perpetua Resources and the opportunity to help shape the Stibnite Gold Project. The council meets monthly to discuss the impacts, concerns and opportunities surrounding the project. The Stibnite Advisory Council is comprised of appointed representatives from eight communities near the project site and Perpetua Resources. Here is a summary of what was discussed during the December 15, 2023 Stibnite Advisory Council meeting:

Council received 2023 annual results and infographic for the Independent Water Monitoring Program from Timothy Link and George Naughton, Idaho Water Resources Research Institute.

Julie provided an update on the New Meadows to McCall pilot transit program and shared the exciting news they will move to five day per week service beginning on June 1, 2024.

Tom shared an article on ground water usage by mining companies.  Council asked for an update on the Stibnite Gold Project and what water usage will be.
