The Stibnite Advisory Council gives communities a seat at the table with Perpetua Resources and the opportunity to help shape the Stibnite Gold Project. The council meets monthly to discuss the impacts, concerns and opportunities surrounding the project. The Stibnite Advisory Council is comprised of appointed representatives from eight communities near the project site and Perpetua Resources. Here is a summary of what was discussed during the July 11, 2024 Stibnite Advisory Council meeting:

Bob made motion to approve June 13th minutes, John 2nd, motion carried.
Mayor Glenna McClure, Riggins, Idaho updated council on Riggins’ Public Works department. They are maxed with sewer during the summer months due to tourism. There is no housing in Riggins.
Council discussed final payment for the 2024 IWRRI contract.
Council discussed how representatives are sharing the information in the new Economic Study that was prepared by Recon Insight Group.
Laurel Sayer provided an update to Council on the retraction of the permit request to Boise National Forest, Perpetua will do the work pre-engineering work summer of 2025.
Council asked Belinda to add Standard Cost Reclamation information to the Restoration section of the FAQ.
Council moved into closed session:
John presented Council with a financial report through June of 2024.
Council discussed periodic updates to the SAC website.
